Candy, candy, candy: It’s all about unique candy

Candy. Just the word alone makes many people’s mouths water, mine included. I admit, I have a sweet tooth that demands to be fed the occasional piece of candy. I especially like chocolate candy.

One explanation I’ve read for this strong need for chocolate is that the stimulants theobromine, caffeine, tyramine and phenylethylamine found in chocolate candy provide a brain-fogged person a lift. And tryptophan lessens anxiety by producing the neurotransmitter serotonin. (borrowed from
